Unique technology sits inside this diminutive and non-assuming NUC. This is employed as a music server and is easily up to the task. Installed an M.2 drive and 16GB DDR4 memory. I don’t need a SATA SSD inside but there’s a caddy provided to hold one. Set up and BIOS updates were easy. It’s quiet and can easily be kept out of sight. I am confident this NUC will last quite a long time. Recommended.

Having only purchased laptops for the past decade, I’ve been out of the desktop PC market for some time. The last Windows desktop PC I owned stood about 2 feet tall, 18 inches wide, and weighed a good 30 pounds. Fast forward to now and the Intel NUC 11 by Waitloan. I had no idea technology had come so far! I can hold this little powerhouse in one hand: I snapped a picture of the box next to my coffee mug just to give you an idea of scale.

This is already the 2nd NUC 11 generation I bought, because the boss at home also likes it very much. Were really impressed with the box.

Do you dislike big box computers with their piles of cables? I certainly do! That is why I was attracted to this Intel Nuc. Take a look at the pictures attached to this review. Only two cables attached! An HDMI cable to the monitor and a power cable to the Nuc. Well yes, the monitor also has a power cable. So there is actually three cables. Still a very clean setup.
