Buy it its awesome for the price

While this is a great CPU with all the bells and whistles, but for gaming there is not real reason to go with this rather than i5 12600K(F). This may shine in productivity tasks where core count matters more, but overall its a decent CPU.

Yeah, it is good, but a little expensive tho. It kinda works well with my 2060

12700F is an amazing all-around performer. CP 2077 runs all-cores at 56 C. Fewer frame dips in CS:GO as well. This CPU is the sweet spot right now: well-priced, easy to cool, runs anything well, very stable, no thermal throttling. 240 AIO is enough to cool it.

Running this in my sons dual boot Mint Linux/Windows 10 desktop. Linux for productivity, windows for gaming. Everything is smooth, though we did disable the e-cores in linux until the kernel fully supports them. Impressive CPU.

I mean its a 12th gen Core i7, It is extremly fast and does everything you throw at it!
