The 9700k has done me well in gaming and some productivity software. At msrp its definitely not the greatest in comparison to other amd equivalent cpus, but in the current market and if you can find this cpu new at around $200 which it has been, its a great cpu to have.

Super fast. Fairly easy to install. Installing a big beefy cooler to cool it is the real challenge.

Lo tengo con un Cooler Master ml240l a 5.1ghz 1.35v y no sube de 75-80 grados, mi temperatura ambiente va de 14-24 grados.

I draw house plans and plans for small commercial buildings. I built my own computer right after this processor came out years ago, teamed it with an intel mother board, and have using it eight to ten hours daily ever since. It is fast, reliable and durable. I have recently expanded and took on another employee. I used the same processer in the computer I built for her. Both are performing perfectly and will run Chief Architect X 12 just fine.

Sono pienamente soddisfatto di questo processore che uso nel sistema che mi sono fatto per lo studio di registrazione ,con cubase latenze bassissime verificate anche con vari programmi di test..... molto più stabile del vecchio I7 3770k ,lo tengo in daily @5 ghz senza il minimo problema ,consigliato a chi non vuole spendere uno sproposito in processori multicore

Because of the nature of the work, I will use a lot of CPU, 9700K performance is beyond imagination, overclocking performance is very good, heat is much better than 9900K
