I’ve paired this with a Noctura NH-U14S cooler and am very happy with the performance/stability. Under max load it gets up towards 85 degrees C.

Not sure how it compares to Ryzen CPUs vis-à-vis price to performance ratio, but the i7-9700k is certainly a very capable chip nonetheless. It runs hot though, so do make sure you have adequate cooling.

My previous CPU was I5-6500 which is decent at that time and even today. However, Chrome was killing my old CPU with so much lag. I got this i7-9700K for only $340 something for a great deal. However, what I did not know at the time of purchase was that even though they all on LGA 1151socket, they are fundamentally different. A new motherboard was required in order to support the i7-9700K. So yeah, you are thinking about upgrading it to new Intel generation, you might want to buy a Z-series motherboard as well. I got my Z390-A which is working fine for me. In the end, my computer can easily handle Chrome and I feel much efficient and pleasant. I would say it is about 50% faster.

produit conforme a ma commande , je met 4 étoiles juste pour le temps de livraison , un peu long alors qua la commande le temps de livraison était plus court , sinon pour le produit il est super , tourne très très vite , cela fait que 1 semaine que je lai , donc a voir dans le temps .

Labsence de SMT ne se ressent pas du tout dans les jeux, bien au contraire. Le CPU consomme moins quun 9900 et monte sans problème en fréquence sil est bien refroidi. Tous les cœurs tournent à 5Ghz sans surchauffe. Pensez à réduire la fréquence de lAVX vers 4,6 Ghz, cette partie du processeur étant plus sensible à lOC.
