Per title; good processor. I cant complain about it. It was as all processors; easy to install. I got this with a motherboard and I can safely tell you that I dont regret my upgrade. I built my PC about three years ago shortly after the release of the 6600k and 6700k and stupidly, I skimped on processing power and went with the 6600k thinking Ill just overclock it as far as I can safely take it with watercooling and thought Id be fine. Well, I was for a while, but three years is a lot, and with that constant overclock, while I wasnt noticing anything bad I was just noticing I wasnt getting as much out of it. So I upgraded, a thing I wouldnt be doing had I gone with the best processor in the first place. Lesson learned.

I use my computer for gaming mostly and upgraded to this from an FX-8350. The performance increase is substantial and it pairs well with my GeForce GTX 1070. I highly recommend this processor you will not be disappointed.

Il processore i7 8700k funziona bene Parlando di overclock scalda tantissimo, di obbligo fare il Delid pultroppo si invalidira la garanzia..

the corner stone of my new pc build have not even kept it over clocked. but on a cheap aftermarket cooler it was up to 5.6ghz. all overclocking done with the motherboard auto feature. turned off the over clocking due to video encoding seemed between over clocked and encoding the temps would get too high and the system would reboot. at the stock speeds it dont have that issue dont get past high 70s low 80s when full usage during encoding.
