i noticed a difference in frames when playing games i have 2070 rtx evga ftw and i have a g sync at 2k and most of games are 70 80s and hitman was in the 100s at times its great

Are u solely looking for just gaming? Then look no further as this is one of the best performers out there for the price. Sure the best bang for the buck would be something like the Ryzen 5 2600, but if you are looking just for gaming then I cant recommend anything other than Intel, and specifically, this CPU is amazing. Ive yet to experience a huge lag in games. And plus the added feature of Overclocking is a huge bonus later down the line. But for now, the stock speeds for me are more than enough.

Upgraded from Intel i5 6600k to this 9th generation and very pleased with the improved performance when running an emulator programme.

Havent tried overclocking since my motherboard doesnt support it. (Probably my next upgrade.) So far has run cool and greatly increased my framerates over my old Core i3-8100. No longer experiencing any real bottleneck for my GTX 1070.
