Intel does one thing really well all the time. And that single core performance. The i-5 has a super crazy high clock speed, with turbo or manual overclocking. So for $200 you can really get a lot out of this chip.

The cpu came fast and undamaged. one of the best cpus you can buy for the price. ive been using it daily for a few months and havent had a problem with it yet. It also doesnt heat up to much but can get kind of toasty when using for multiple hours on end. but would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about building a pc.

Using this in an Asus Prime Z370 II mobo and very happy with the result. It only needed a couple of mouse clicks and running at 4.8Ghz on all cores. Render times on Adobe Premiere are pretty decent, lighting up all 6 cores.
