the tool kit is a jack of all traits it has things you need now and things in the future.

I was on the fence about spending $60 On the ifixit repair kit but the other sets on the market looked cheap and awkward. I am glad I ponied up the extra dough, all the tools in the ifixit kit are very well made and feel nice in hand. The foldable bag it comes in is decent, but the driver and bit holder is extremely nice! I would suggest if they release a newer version to use a hard case like the driver/bit holder for the entire kit. Very happy with it, would definitely buy it again.

Great quality and assortment of bits, very well designed

The issue with iFixits tool set is that they use S2 steel which is a type of steel that is prone to shattering, breaking, bending, etc. I didnt know this until I researched it. All the bits were bending, breaking cracking, etc, and I couldnt figure out why until I educated myself on steel Hardness properties. When it comes to bits and the torque that you sometimes will have to use with these bits, you dont want a bit made with S2 steel. They advertise that they use S2 steel like its supposed to be a great thing!... Its not. So I bought this kit a couple years ago, and I have several broken or bent pieces/bits. Look for a better set that has a stronger steel. Bits and tools should be made with a hard steel like what they use in Drill bits. The manufacturers of this tool set probably thought people would be using this set for light work and most of the time that is the case, that is why most people are satisfied with this set. For me, I use this set for everything and anything that needs a really small bit. They constantly snap, break strip or bend. I wouldnt recommend this set until iFixit uses a stronger steel in the bits. I included a pic of a couple examples. This shouldnt happen to bits like this. I wasnt even using much torque/strength when these issues occurred!

Utilissimo set di attrezzi per aprire e smontare oggetti e vari gadget elettronici. iFixit costa di più, ma la qualità vale sicuramente la spesa.

Solid toolkit for just about anything! I use it for PC building and repair. Comes with everything you could need and its the quality weve come to expect from iFixit!

Ive used a lot of toolkits out there, but none havent I found that are as versatile and useful as this one. This toolkit can enable you to open up almost any device out there, but whats better is they also offer device repair teardown videos and detailed instructions with the very tools this kit comes with, so you dont have to wing it and potentially break the device you intend to repair.
