iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

Beautiful tool set. If you find yourself fixing your computer and any other electronics, I would not waste my time with the cheap sets. When you use the screw driver for the first time, you know you made the right decision.

So, I work in IT for a county department, and part of our job description is to change certain electronic components in firetrucks and fire rescue vehicles. This small thing has proved invaluable in making the job easier and much more satisfying to do. I especially like to use these to build desks and change out components in computers. Ive only had the kit for a few months, but the mileage Im getting out of them is just incredible for working with small screws. The only thing its missing is a hex and monkey wrench, but you can get those separately and shove them in the pockets along with all your other nifty tools. Also, this kit includes a SIM card pin (itll be a head) and a small flat piece which allows you to pop out the GPU in your computer (if youre a PC builder). All in all, this is my daily driver for pretty much everything that doesnt need an actual power drill.

Got these based on a friends recommendation that worked at a certified Apple repair shop. This kit is the best, it just feels so great to use, and it’s built and designed to work with the smallest amount of effort. The screwdriver feels so damn good to use. That bit set alone is worth the money.

There are so many tools packed into this kit - I dont know that Ill manage to use them all before I die. The build quality is great and so is the organization. I look forward to pulling this kit out to work on various projects.

The Ifixit Pro Tech Toolkit was worth every penny spent, with high-quality items included in the kit with their own use. Each driver bit is magnetic and it grips onto the driver well. On the top of the drive, theres a spinning part that lets you press down while screwing something in or out. Although the bendable part of the driver is not magnetic and the bits may fall out, which gets quite frustrating. Sometimes I dont use the kit for tech, sometimes I use it for normal purposes, and it works just fine. One thing I would fix is the covers for the tweezers, their very weak and over time they break in half from the tweezers pushing them wider. Overall I highly recommend this kit.
