> 3 dayBought this product several years ago and was impressed with it. But even a good plastic bag is not good forever. Ordered it again and it was not the same. The pattern is lighter, but the bigger difference is the thickness of the bags. With the original bags, I could average about 10 uses or more. With the new ones almost 25% split the first time I drop them on a hard surface to break the ice up. Not really many alternatives, but very disappointed with the change.

> 3 dayOur Motel provides free ice for the Guests and the normal 10 pound bags with a string are just too heavy to hold with just your fingers. These 8 pounds bags (1 gallon of ice) are just right and our guests like them as theyre easier to carry.

> 3 dayI have used these ice bags for the past few years for a Boy Scout fundraiser at a church festival to deliver ice to the various food vendors. They are easy to fill and tie the strings to close them up. They stay intact when frozen and actually take a pretty good beating to get them to break open which tells you how solid they are constructed. In a box of 100 bags, there may be one or two which have a manufacturing error with the strings, but even then they are still usable. A solid product.
