Hydro Flask Water Bottle - Wide Mouth Straw Lid 2.0 - 40 oz, Hibiscus

My 13yr old girl (who swears shes not a VSCO girl!) has been begging me for a Hydroflask for some time. Shes a travel soccer player and has a decent sized water bottle that she uses every weekend on the bench. We held off getting her a hydroflask because we felt the ones before simply did not hold enough water to get her through a game. We were glad to see that Hydroflask came out with their 2.0 line as it now came in the 40oz (and even 64!) We took a try on the 40oz Hibiscus and its worked out great. Despite her throwing it around, shoving in her backpack, falling off the bench onto the ground, etc. it hasnt chipped or stained at all. This has probably been the most impressive part of their powder coating process. It is too tall to fit on most normal fridge shelves but we developed trust in the seal that it would hold on its side so we end up laying it flat in the fridge. All in all, no complaints from this family.

I love the color - I ordered it in hibiscus. I have used it for cold drinks, water is still ice cold after a day and a half. Perfect!!

Extremely disappointed. For the price of this cup, I’d expect a lot more. First use the cup was filled with ice and left overnight, next morning all the ice was gone and water was warm. Second use, filled with ice again in the morning and by early afternoon all the ice was completely melted and again the water was warm. I wasn’t able to get anymore ice then so I got stuck drinking warm water. I have bought $10/$15 Manna brand cups that have ice in them for 24-48 hours, (Sometimes Longer) all I have to do is fill them up with water... Soooo I was definitely expecting a lot more from a $55.00 cup. These cups have had a lot of hype so I unfortunately decided to try them out. It does look well built and of good quality but so far it has not been good for what I bought it for. :(

Beautiful looking bottle

Arrived dented and does not keep cold. The ice melts after about 5 hours. Tested 3 times.

Bought for gift

Accidentally order this one night after a few drinks... 2 weeks later I started circuit training at the gym and it has been perfect for working out no leaks, perfect straw size and easy to drink out of

This is a great product. I love it. The color is bright and beautiful. The bottle doesnt leak and it keeps everything cold. The only bummer is that it doesnt fit in my cup holder in my car. I love the fact that it is 40 oz so I can easily get my 80 oz in every day.

Before I buy this thing,I think this item really heavy. BUT!! It is really light!!!!even fill full of water. Its really nice!
