I have had the main entrance to my home illuminated with rope lights for years. Most lights I bought at big box stores. Several years back one of the ropes died leaving a gap. I ordered 100 feet of white rope light from Amazon. These lights were very dim and I was not pleased with them. Recently I thought to get a new set of white rope lights. I reviewed customer recommendations on Amaxon and these lites were cost effective and people who had bought them said they were bright or very bright I ordered them, took a while to come, but they showed up well packaged and in a plastic roll. Next day I went out to my long arch which holds my lites and started planning the install. Pretty straight forward, using a tall step ladder and zip ties around the pipe frame of the extended arch, up they went. I find zip ties easy to use and I do not use the included hardware. The zip ties work much better for me. Oh, as to my concern about brightness? These, my friends are bright! As bright as any I have ever used. And they are a nice bright blue/white color which is very pleasant. The fotos above were taken about 5 am as daylight was just thinking of dawning. While bright, they would be moreso in pitch night black. High quality and highly recommended, with easy installation with zip ties.

I love the idea it came with a spool and small hooks.

We have them under our RV , keeps the vermin away from our electrical wires.

They arrived and when plugged in they worked. We installed on our retaining wall with ease with installation clips that came with lights. Connected the two 100 ft. strings together easily. Plugged into dusk-to-dawn timer and they lit up the back yard at dusk. I kind of wish I had gotten the colored or soft white ones because these are pretty bright, but I live in the country so they wont be bothering anyone . Next time Ill remember that. Lets see how long these last now.

Didnt work

The only issue I had was there was not enough clips sent to install the rope light. Thankfully, I was able to reuse most of the old clips from the old rope light that this was replacing.

These were a gift for my dad and I won’t truly know how well the work outside until summer. We bought them to put around our campsite so they will definitely be put to the test. They seem fine after unboxing and there is a connection to extend or shorten then which is cool. The spool they are on is very flimsy so don’t count on that being your storage solution long term.

We purchased 2 sets of these lights attached them to our chain link fence. When we take our dogs out at night they light the entire yard up so we see the dogs clearly They make us feel so safe Thank you

We use these when camping and love the look. Always get lots of comments on the lights. They dont seem to last as long as they used to so we replace about once a year.
