> 3 dayThe bigger the size, the higher up they seem to go. I don’t like high rise and these are close to it. Otherwise super comfy, flattering and stretchy. Ordering a size down though as these were too big.

> 3 dayYou can’t tell me that if someone offers me a $200 pair of jeans for free that I can’t take it—even if those jeans are, supposedly, several sizes too small. I am taking those jeans! That’s why when these Hudson Collin jeans (size 29 only) showed up on my For You page on the AmazonVine listings, I could not resist. I didn’t even care if I had to lose twenty pounds to wear them. See, a size 29 is supposed to fit a 31-inch waist, which is what I have when my corset is on and lightly tightened. The issue is that I am one CURVY chick. And these hips currently measure 45 inches around. The size 29 supposedly only fits 37-inch hips. We’re talking an 8-inch difference here, ladies. EIGHT, 8, ocho, huit. But hope springs eternal and, like I said, you can’t make me say “no” when someone offers me a $200 pair of jeans in exchange for my honest review. So let’s move on. As soon as I opened the package, I was impressed. Thanks to the high rayon content, these jeans are the softest, most luxurious jeans I have ever felt. When you put your hand on your thigh, do you want to feel softness and comfort or do you want to feel sandpaper? If you answered “softness and comfort”, these are the jeans for you. And yet, they do NOT feel like jeggings. They just feel like exquisitely soft denim, with the requisite thickness. I could tell already that these would be my favorite jeans, even if I couldn’t get them on. I took them upstairs and unfolded them fully. Oof, this could be a challenge. Yet, I started manipulating the lovely fabric with my hands and found an impressive amount of stretch. Could this work? The mantra “If I zips, I fits!” entered my mind. I began the work of pulling them on. And behold! I got them on! I got them on with stretch to spare! Now, I didn’t have my corset on at that point, so I had a muffin top that would make that man on Drury Lane run screaming in horror. So for the photos, I quickly put one on and readjusted the jeans. And there you have it. My intuition about the miracle of the 4% “elastomultiester” and 2% elastane mentioned in the fibers list for these jeans proved correct. They could and did stretch to accommodate my 45-inch hips. The side-to-side ceases indicate that this is an upper limit and generally not recommended. The takeaway here is that curvy girls need not shy away from these jeans and active girls who may want to kickbox or taekwondo in their correct size will find them to be very comfortable indeed. Sitting down was still comfortable through the hips and behind, but the front waistband did pull in at the tummy and down at the back. I blame this on the disparity between the theoretical sizing and the actual body installed in the jeans. The pockets on these jeans are typical girl-jean pockets. Anticipate using a purse as usual. I absolutely will seek out this brand and this fabric in particular in the future. If the brand created a wide-leg, high-rise jean in this fabric with a curvy silhouette, I would buy ten pairs and throw out all my other bottoms. That’s how insanely comfortable even this several-sizes-too-small pair of jeans feels to me. I cannot say it enough: The fabric is TO DIE FOR. All jeans should be made of this and the world would be a better place because everyone would be so chilled out and comfortable in their own clothes. In the meantime, I definitely feel motivated to get fit so that I can wear these jeans even without my corset holding in my muffin top. I mean, I could just pay $200 dollars for a pair in the correct size, but I like challenges…and I’m kind of attached to this particular pair already. And I’ve been wanting to get in shape but lacked motivation. Now I have motivation; thanks AmazonVine! Did I mention that my husband walked in on me trying these jeans on and his eyes nearly popped out of this head from gawking? I guess they make me look hot. If they can make me look hot, they’ll absolutely make you look simply VOLCANIC.

> 3 dayPerfect jeans if you don’t want to look like a mom. And don’t want to look like a mom trying to be a teen. Straight cut is perfect for flats!

> 3 dayWithin the first few months, my zipper was broke. Don’t feel like these are “real” Hudson jeans. They definitely are not holding up as well as when I purchase from the store.

> 3 dayI’m 5’4 135 lbs and I buy Hudson jeans on a regular basis . I’m usually a size 26 in the stretch version These fit except the bottoms are a bit loose more of a straight leg as opposed to a skinny leg fit and the zipper broke in less than a year . There is very LITTLE stretch in them so they are stiff and uncomfortable
