> 24 hourBought this to use on a trip to Ireland. We had some trouble initially getting the sim card activated...its not a fault of this device... just something to consider. I bought a standard Tesco phone sim card, but couldnt activate it without help from customer service because it wasnt being used in a cell phone. I had downloaded the Huawei smart home app ahead of time on my cell. You can receive SMS via this device on the app. Using my phone and the free wifi at a hotel, I was able to chat with Tesco support online and they sent a confirmation code via SMS to the device. Customer support was then able to activate/top up the sim card for me. After that, the device worked great. There were four of us and we could all be on wifi at the same time. Battery life was good. Just make sure if you are using it on a trip that you download and learn how to use the smart home app before you go.

> 24 hourI like the product, it boosts the internet signal as Wifi than having the SIM card inside the phone. It works fine but it isn’t the best. The only negative advantage is the lack battery time. The batter doesn’t last long.

> 24 hourI purchased this device for my European trip. I’ve purchased an European SIM card as well, but this device does not work! I was able to install it, but when I need it, it won’t broadcast Wi-Fi, so I can’t connect to it. I’ve tried several troubleshooting options, nothing has worked. I will return it as soon as possible!

> 24 hourDevice is easy to use. Instructions are provided, but if you have basic WLAN knowledge, you will not be needing them either. Its pretty straightforward just like configuring your home router. Downside is the part where you open the compartment to insert the SIM. Either you damage your fingernails trying to open it or damage the compartment bit by bit by stabbing the open here area. Its a downside if youre travelling with the need of changing SIM frequently. Oh, and the other part is the SIM tray locking mechanism. You put the SIM in, you slide the tray, but you wont really know if it locked. Yeah, you cant really expect a click sound coz if you push it any further you may damage the tray or SIM itself. But of course, the battery sits on top of the SIM/tray. So even if it didnt lock properly, it wont wont really be moving. To me its a minor issue I can live with.

> 24 hourThe product and the battery lasted less than one hour. I had to constantly keep it charging in order to user it for long periods. Ive sent a couple of messages for a replacement but have yet to hear back from anyone.
