HTC Vive Controller (2018) & Vive Base Station

Love it would buy again no issues after weeks of using

I bought this as a replacement for controllers that stopped tracking. They work great out of the box, but I should note that this is the third time Ive had to buy new controllers for the vive. They arent built to last and slowly degrade until they stop working completely after about a year.

Bought a used one in supposedly good condition but when I received the controller I found that the thing was busted and looked like someone had chewed on it. It turns on and connects but doesnt track wouldnt reccomend getting used ones

Bought HTC Vive many years ago, then bought a Vive Pro HMD, now had to buy a new set of controllers. The old ones were having power issues where the charge doesnt last very long anymore. Also, one of them has a pad that is glitchy and one of the pad buttons doesnt register clicks consistently. Next up, Im expecting the base stations to blow out on me.

Do not listen to the other guy. Yes these are expensive, but the 1.0 controllers will NOT work with 2.0 base stations such as the ones that come with Vive Pro and Index.

Works better than the original version for sure. No complaints thus far. Loving the blue color too.

UPDATE : DO NOT BUY - NO such thing as customer support My base station died - and VIVE has NO replacement part, and has no idea if or when they will have, so I can no longer use HTC VIVE VR what a bunch of crap! I purchased a Vive set and Also a Vive Pro Complete set- After 1 year the headphone ear pads totally disentegrate with black flakes flying all over the place- After contacting vive they do not make replacement earpads- and they will not recommend where I can get new ones. They also sell replacement headphones, but they come minus the earpads- And they still will not advise where to get earpads for your bran new replacement headsets! Unbeleivable! Guess I will try VALVE VR after this!

Works great with my index and vive pro

Great tracking, less battery life than previous version.

The first controller I purchased works like a charm. But the second I purchased I was sent an open box version that keeps glitching and freezing constantly (Returned it.).
