> 3 dayFirst – MAKE SURE TO REMOVE ALL FILMS. Theres a small yellow film over the charging contacts. The ear buds will not turn on if you dont remove these as they only turn on when you remove them from the case. Onto the review. I got these bluetooth earbuds for gaming with my Steam Deck and the low latency mode actually seems to work pretty well. The sound quality is decent, about what you’d expect from a $30 pair of earbuds. The range on them is pretty good as well, I can get about 30 feet away before anything gets choppy but of course if you go through multiple walls it will get worse. My biggest complaint with these earbuds is the lack of a few features found on similar products. Namely you can’t turn them off and you cant change the volume. On most devices like this a long enough press will turn the device off or turn the device on. For these HTC Earbuds you MUST put them in the case to turn them off or take them out of the case to turn them on. This is especially annoying because if you leave them out for a bit unpaired they turn off automatically and you’ll have to find the case again to pop them in and out to turn back on. You also can’t unpair them except from the paired device. The most annoying thing about these is they don’t have their own volume controls and no way to control the volume on the device from these. With EVERY single bluetooth audio device I have ever used there has been some way to control the audio levels without messing with the device they’re connected to and these fail that test. I would liked to be able to control the volume individually from any other Bluetooth things I would connect to my phone or deck but I have to change them all at the same time. Overall their build quality is good, they’re comfortable enough, they have good range and decent battery life (only tested 4 hours, your results may differ), but the software and control issues really tank this to me. You can’t release a Bluetooth device with fewer features than even the cheapest on the market have.

> 3 dayThese earbuds are super impressive, especially given the price point! The sound quality is excellent, not tinny or shallow. They connected with my iPhone very easily and automatically re-pair when theyre taken out of the case. The case itself has magnetic connections, holding them in place when inserted. And its best feature is the three lights on the outside, letting you know how much charge you have left. It comes with 3 pairs of earbud nibs, so your pretty much guaranteed to find something that fits. The Bluetooth connection is great and the microphone is crystal clear for calls, even when outside / in windy conditions. My ONE hangup is the noise cancellation claim, because I havent found any evidence of TRUE, active noise cancellation. Theres nothing about it in the instructions and no way to control it, so Im not quite sure why its listed as a feature. I was disappointed to realize that and ultimately deducted one star because of it. Otherwise, if youre looking for high-quality, decent-sounding earbuds (WITHOUT noise cancellation), these are a great choice at a reasonable price.

> 3 dayThis set of earbuds is pretty small. The sound is on point. Not audiophile quality, but great otherwise. The fit is acceptable as long as you find the right tips for your ears. The noise cancelling is passive at best and relies completely on your tip fit. You also need to crank up the volume for that to work. I do like the fact they are so small I can stick them in my pocket and not notice them.

> 3 dayI’ve always been a fan of HTC. First impression was that it was such a lightweight, sleek, compact case. The earbuds are cute and comfortable (comes with smaller/larger tips for maximum comfort), and maybe it’s just me, but I adore that the earbuds are very magnetic. Start to put them into the case and they finish putting themselves away properly. Don’t have to worry if you placed it inside just right for charging. It’s a nice strong pull, yet they are very easy to remove. The sound was very loud and clear, had to keep the phone volume nearly off. The price is very right. Love these.
