Bought this case at local big box store 3 weeks ago. The case is very good looking and feels well built. The case is Genuine HTC in retail package. Paid $50. But after 2-3 weeks starts falling apart itself. The rubber cover cracks where it bends. Hard to hold the phone when the case is open or folded. The phone is trying to fly away. You cannot use the case a stand similar to HTC Double Dip Flip Case. Basically the Dot View looks very cool and attractive. Easy to impress your friends. But the case is very inconvenient to use. The back of the case is clear plastic and was scratched in the box. I checked several cases at the store and they all scratched. I would not recommended to buy this case.

I like my Flip Case very much, for picture taking its not the greatest. Would I buy again? Yes!

The cover works great. The info it displays is useful. You are able to answer phone calls with the cover closed.

CONS: The reason I love HTC is for the camera. This cover does not protect the camera, and camera started getting scratched in my purse in the odd times I used the Dot View. I love SPECK cases and the quality of this cover is nothing like SPECK

Great looking case but offers no protection and will likely give you more trouble because of its face and build. You will have to use two hands when using this case to operate your phone and the case build gives you a false sense of security.
