> 24 hourThese inexpensive router bits are great. They cut well for my needs. Im not a professional that uses it everyday but for my occasional use it sharp and cuts clean. The ball upcut works great with my plunge router. Nice to be able to scribe lines in wood beauty panels. Quarter of the cost of premium bits.

> 24 hourItem reviewed: HQMaster CNC Router Bits 1/4 inch Shank Ball Nose End Mill with Nano Blue Coating Spiral CNC Bits for Wood Cut Carving Engraver Side Milling End Milling Finish Machining (1/8 Cutting Dia.) This is a nice bit a a reasonable price. I prefer when smaller tip bits have a good 1/4 inch shaft at the top as this one does. Seems to me that gives it a better chance of survival in the CNC jungle. I havent figured out my long term bit storage solution, so for now most bits stay in whatever storage solution they come with. This one gets extra points for having a nice plastic case (similar to many other bit cases) with large clear lettering identifying the bit (not so common). Highly Recommend

> 24 hourThe quality is fantastic and I use 1/4 more than any other and do tend to wear on them. These hold an edge well and have been put to great use cranking out holiday gifts. I cant think of an argument to pay more when this quality stands up to other really expensive options Ive tried. Update: This bit continues to hold an edge well after dozens of operations through hardwood at pretty aggressive settings of speeds. These are a fantastic workhorse bit to use.

> 24 hourTLDR: Duller than a bus trip to Branson. I Picked this downward-cutting end mill for some prototype packaging I wanted to develop using standard EVA foam. This endmill cut beautifully at 10K RPM for about ten pieces and then quickly began to dull. The CNC would continue to push the cutter through the foam, but the material would just flex and compress until the cutter passed leaving an inconsistent and wavy finish. This must be the lowest quality carbide they could source. I had to double-check the listing to ensure I didnt buy an HSS end mill by mistake. I am going to try to cut some aluminum or other harder material just to see if the other reviews for this product are fake. Id be shocked if it even cuts a chip given how poorly it wore doing something as simple as cutting foam.

> 24 hourIve been using this bit in my wooden sign making business and so far it works great and has remained sharp. Ive used it for 3d roughing passes in hardwood and in other applications where a ballnose bit is useful. So far, I havent noticed much difference in the quality of cuts from my more expensive bits. Its amazing to me that you can get quality tooling these days at this price point. These bits would make a great go to bit for production without having to stop to resharpen tooling. I would definitely recommend, and will order more!

> 24 hourGot this as a cheap alternative for my CNC for some relief carvings Ive been doing. It works well, havent seen any real issues so far. Im about 5-6 jobs in and still doing its thang so we will see how long it holds up. For now .. for the price ... Its definitely a good bit.

> 24 hourThis is 1/4 inch Shank, 1/8 inch cutting Ball Nose End Mill CNC router bit with Nano Blue Coating. Its a Spiral CNC Bit for Wood Cut, Carving, or Engraving. Im using it in my CNC machine for wood carving. Its being used in a Makita Trim Router and it works very well. Ive used it on a few projects now and they look good with just a little sanding. Nice bit.

> 24 hourWhile I would prefer a bearing bit (and I ordered one) this bit came within a few days of order and worked just fine for my needs. I needed to duplicate some Plexiglass objects and so set up the bit to travel along the original and cut the part out. My concern was burning the original (without having a bearing guide) but that was not the case and given the correct speed and movement speed this bit worked like a champ and stayed sharp for the duration of my project. I was cutting 1/4 Plexi and while I thought heat might be a problem it seemed to work just fine

> 24 hourThis is a nice quality router bit. It is very sharp and works as its supposed to. It is packaged very nicely. It comes in the standard router bit square plastic case. The great thing here is that the case is labeled very clearly, so you dont have to squint (or get a magnifying glass) to read the side of the shank. This is very useful as you are juggling different bits and needing to match the right bits to the right tool paths. I use these bits on my CNC to carve designs into soft woods. So far, so good, the bit is still in once piece. I am very happy with the performance and the results of this bit.

> 24 hourWorked well even with a very high feed rate and stepover of about half the width using the entirety of the flute for quick roughing. Ran it for about 8 hours so far and it still feels very sharp.
