Greater than one weekAs a college student I’m pretty dependent on a laptop for my work. This is my second HP laptop and I will not be buying another one. It can’t be off the charger for more than a couple hours of use and it freezes a lot. It takes forever to update, sometimes automatically which of course happens at bad times and it occasionally can’t do an update and then I have to wait for the changes to be undone. I would not recommend one to anyone.

> 3 dayI am a die-hard Mac user, but I like this computer. Its very user-friendly, and I love the touchscreen. The picture quality on this is good, too. I am very happy with this and recommend this as a good option for those looking for a PC laptop.

> 3 dayOrdered the computer on March 12, 2021 and after only a few months the keyboard is all messed up. I can’t copy and paste with the shortcut functions and I can’t use shift to make Capitol letters on the right side of the keyboard. I spent four hours researching online how to fix this and none of the solutions work. For obvious reasons the keyboard shortcut functions are extremely important and I am not happy that they don’t work after only owning the computer for a few months.

> 3 dayIt is true, battery life is poor, and it keeps disconnecting from wi-fi. In this century, there is no plausible reason for a computer that costs this much to have these flaws. Have not decided whether to send it back. I still use a Toshiba and a Dell, this one was lighter for taking to other countries. I wanted a backlit keyboard. You start out putting all your data on it, only to find out the flaws as you go. Very discouraging, do not know if it is Win 10 or HP. Will get to the bottom of it and update this poor review. There wasnt a whole lot of comments when I purchased. Pen and touch work decent, so does the switching to tablet like mode.

> 3 dayI had an older similar HP laptop and this one has many improvements over it. Keyboard and touch pad are fine. Case is nice even though its made of plastic. The fan is very quiet but it runs pretty cool anyway. It has a flip tablet mode but I think its not useful since the unit is quite heavy. Touchscreen is good but I dont use it much. A few complaints... Display could be brighter. Theres no way you could use it outside. It would be nice if it have a fingerprint reader but I guess thats okay. Its not very fast so dont plan on running games on it.

> 3 dayThe battery would Discharge quickly even when the laptop was shut down. I would fully charge it and shut it down and 2 days later turn it back on 30 to 40% of the charge was gun while, the laptop was shut down. Try to get the help From HP, They try to update my software, but they mess it up My softer and tok them 3 days to send me operating system. After few hours Reinstalling the software and updating steel I had the same problem with the battery. So he said that they going to send me a Box to send it to HP for repair. It took them another 3 days to send me a Box, After I packed the laptop and went to 3 different fedex finally realised that They didnt send me the shipping package. So I called Amazon And I explained what happened to me. Very nice representative tok care of my problem and sent me return label.

Greater than one weekI was very excited when my queue was populated with this laptop. I bought this exact version in 2018 for my wife for about 600$ on sale. There are only minor differences between the 2020 and 2018 version and they all contribute to a small increase in raw performance but nothing revolutionary.
