> 24 hourI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these boots. You really can’t beat them for the price. I will say there is a steep learning curve to putting them on and it feels like a genuine IQ test at times, but once you get the hang of them they’re pretty easy. For size reference, my mare is 15h with more refined legs. We get 1 full wrap around with a tiny bit of overlap, so if your horse has thicker legs these would probably fit more like open fronts. That being said, I have used them on a friend’s Friesian cross and we got them all the way around, just no overlap. Pros: ✔️ They stay cold for at least 20-30 mins ✔️ They stay put if the horse moves ✔️ Nice colors (navy/pink, definitely not purple like the description pic) ✔️ Come with little carry bag which saves space in the freezer! (I easily fit both in 1 bag)

> 24 hourUPDATE: I contacted the seller with my concerns and they were excellent to work with! They immediately sent a replacement pair, and were very concerned about the problem I had. I will assume my original pair was a fluke! I was excited to use these, have a horse with hock issues and I liked the gel rather than a frozen ice. I have only used these about 10-15 times, and they are falling apart... both at the seams and the velcro is separating from the fabric. The way they wrap, having the velcro go around and attach to itself, is awkward, especially if the horse moves at all while putting them on. I have to put a polo wrap below them to be sure they dont slide down and collapse at the ankle, which they do. I will be contacting the manufacturer about this, maybe mine was a defective order. Overall Im pretty disappointed.

> 24 hourThis horse ice wrap is well made and easy to apply on either front or back legs. The carrying case is nice and helps to keep the wrap clean. I transport the frozen wrap in a cooler with blue ice around it and it stays frozen in the tack room even hours later. One review stated not all gel squares freeze the same. I’ve had the same issue, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. The value is unbeatable, so I bought a second one. If my horse destroys it I won’t be so heartbroken. LOL.

> 24 hourWe own a hard working, hard stopping, reining cow horse with A LOT of heart. Her joints are clean (xrays at the vet) but over the last couple years, after a hard day cutting cows, reining and down the fence, she retains some fluid in one of her rear pasterns. She has never been off or lame but the fluid really concerned us. We tried excercise, running cold water over it, sweating it, clay, wraps, anti inflammatories and other remedies. Everything took the fluid down but none took it away. We looked at other ice boots...but WOW the cost was prohibitive and hauling all that stuff down the road to rodeo/shows was just crazy. FINALLY, found this product and figured it was worth a try. IT WORKS! When she stocks up, mild exercise, apply the frozen wrap for 20 minutes and the fluid is GONE. We have kept her on 1/2 tab of Previcox (prescribed by our vet) for the next two weeks just for good measure. FITS GREAT, easy for me to put on just secure from the bottom up....conforms to leg fairly well (velcro and elastic keeps in place) and doesnt slip down. This is a great product for a great PRICE. WORTH A TRY. Comes with a cover so we just put the boot in the cover inside the freezer in the living quarters. I have only surfaced cleaned so gave it a 4 for easy to clean because I actually dont know the answer to that yet. It looks like you could wash it in a bucket and hang to dry without any issues.

> 24 hourI found these when my horse injured his tendon below the fetlock…traditional ice boots wouldn’t mold to his leg to wrap below the fetlock since traditional ones are literally ice blocks. These were perfect for getting that spot. I purchased more to use them on both of our horses after rides just to keep their legs in good shape. They do not stay cold quite as long as the ones with ice blocks of course but definitely are cold long enough to get the job done. I truly believe they are more comfortable for the horses too.

> 24 hourI put these in the freezer just as instructed. I was at a show from 6 AM to 5 PM. By the time I got to my barn, I took these out of my cooler pack that did not have ice. These gel packs were still nice and cool, and we’re such a great relief on the horse. When I took them off, her legs were very cool to touch with a Hwy heat and humidity today. They were the perfect touch to the end of the day and I’m sure of reduced a lot of inflammation and swelling from the heat.

Posting some thoughts
> 24 hourI am both pleased and displeased with this. Im also glad my vet only wants 20 minutes on the horse because I barely get that. Pros: Once you get the hang of the long velcro straps and how not to get tangled up, youll find this is a rather nice product for the money. The straps are long enough to wrap around and give you a feeling that it will stay secure while on the horse. I feel the product is durable enough. I have been using it 6 times a week for the first month twice a day and now 3 times a week once a day for this last month and will use for next 6 months. I get the feeling it will really last. Cons: The gel packs are not all uniformly as cool as the others. I cant understand that. Some will be brick hard frozen and others soft. I have moved it around to different places in my freezer and have experimented with it lying flat, folded in half and rolled up. Also, and this is the big disappointment, I am barely getting 20 minutes out of the packs. Idea: I wish the product had a special flexible lower portion to it that would be able to wrap in and under lower part of fetlock. The design of the individual gel packs prevents you from really getting it in and under there. Summary: It is helping my horse for sure. Product could be better. Excellent value for the money. Its a family business so support them. You will be pleased.

> 24 hourThese are a good value for the price. You can easily spend more than $100 on ice boots. I put these on after riding to cool the tendons and ligaments. Ill be ordering a second pair for my mare. You can see them on my large gelding in the photo and on my Morgan mare (shes smaller than the appy). These may be a bit large for really small horses. They seem fine for average and even larger horses.

> 24 hourI really like these wraps, once i got use to putting them on. Over all very very pleased. They for right into my freezer and I can wrap ice packs in them to keep cold... My only wish is that they world get alittle colder, alittle icy. They get cold enough to put on after a work out but not really cold enough to put on for current swelling or injury. I need them to be significant to cold hosing.
