Put in my closet for shoes

I am so happy I purchased this shoe rack. It looks so nice, its sturdy, and I was able to put it together myself. My only issue is if you have a family with big feet, space fills up fast lol.

Easy to put together, had my kids help tighten the screws. Very stable compared with anything Ive bought at Walmart. It fits bigger shoes too, my feet size is 11.5/12 mens and it fits ankle high boots, and Columbia bugaboo boots, but probably not my taller Danner hunting boots.

The rack looks as I expected (yay!), and the members and top are sturdier than expected, which is a big plus. I really have only one gripe and one nit keeping it from a 5-star review. My gripe is that while the back half of the shelves are meant to be adjustable (there are 2 hole positions), the front of the shelf is not. This means that if you want to be able to store boots without touching the shelf above, you have to put them in heel-first. I really dont know why they didnt just have the same set of pre-drilled holes front and back, allowing one to better customize the shelf height. As you can see in the picture, I drilled my own second set of holes for the bottom shelf. My nit has already been commented on. Basically, the unit relies on oversized holes relative to the bolts you are using to make everything work. Kinda makes sense if you think about it. If you really do rotate the shelf, but all the holes are inline, then youre gonna come up short if everything is machined perfectly. So, my advice is not to tighten ANYTHING until you have everything put together. You have to fiddle with the fit quite a bit, and its pretty much impossible to do if stuff is tightened down. So, all in all, Im pretty pleased. Its definitely an improvement over the 2-tier bamboo rack I was using before. I think its fair to say that if you like the pictures you see online, you will be satisfied with what shows up.

Great Christmas present for my practical husband. Assembly was easy and it fits perfectly in the space I had in mind.

Needed something to fit more shoes, but still look nice for the front door. Seems sturdy.

My wife and I are using this in our entry way and really enjoy it’s functionality, clears away shoes neatly and even has a nice drop spot for mail, wallets and such.
