Everything in the parts kit is high quality. The water pump housing is a part I wish had been included. Mine was a little marked up from what looked like a possible overheat.

This kit comes with the upper housing and all necessary gaskets and orings. The lower housing gasket is included but the oring and two water seals are not. If you remove the lower housing you will need an oring and two water seals and might as well replace the lower housing while your at it.

Each piece of the kit was in a genuine Honda bag with part number. It’s what you want Don’t buy the cheap junk ,,, ask me how I know. Master marine mechanic said lube with dawn or synthetic grease , never petroleum based grease because it degrades the impeller

This kit is normally alum that will be needed to rebuild a water pump. Unfortunately I had to also order the pump housing and the seals to do a completed rebuild.

This is the full kit for replacing the water pump. I am religious about maintenance and always use only OEM on my Honda outboard.

The kit has EVERYTHING you need, and fit my 2009 40hp perfectly.
