> 3 dayThis humidifier is of exceptional quality. Its a 5L Top Fill Humidifier but is very compact in size. I have a 4L which is the same size as this. It is well designed to provide good cool mist especially during the winters or it can be also be kept next to plants requiring humidity. It comes with a timer, diffuser tray for aroma therapy and is quiet when its operating. So far, I have had no problems as to cleaning the humidifier (one has to remove the top lid to clean) or any leakages.

> 3 dayThis humidifier reworks well and keeps me from drying out during the winter. I only use it at night and because it has such a large tank, I only need to fill it every 4 days. It’s very easy to fill, clean, and operate.

> 3 dayI like the design of this humidifier, and its super quiet and easy to use. Okay for a very small bedroom with the door closed, but no good for anything bigger. My bedroom is only about 65ft2/6m2 and I was only able to get the humidity to 40% after a night of running it on high. In the rest of the condo (with the doors to washroom, bedroom, and laundry closed) I cant get humidity any higher than 20% as measured by the machine. I believe the lowest it goes is 20%, because my standalone hygrometer shows markedly lower than that. Without any added moisture, my condo goes as low as 10% humidity but usually sits at 15% on my hygrometer. Its not listed here anywhere, but on the box it lists the coverage as 323 ft2/30 m2--I highly doubt this claim, but its definitely not enough for my situation (my condo is a total of 560 ft2 but this includes all rooms). I also noticed fine white dust around where I situated the humidifier, but my water does run a little hard and I didnt use purified or filtered water--its just not practical to put 5L of that into this machine every day and a half or so, since I have to run it on high constantly. The tank is also a little cumbersome to move after its been filled, since theres no handle but its not impossible. The cleaning is not too bad since the atomizer has a cover you can remove, plus the tank itself is very good. Its just a shame that its not powerful enough for me. ------------------------------------ The above is the original 3 star review for the humidifier, and I stand by it. I have, however, upgraded my overall review to 4 star because the Homvana customer service is 5 star. They contacted me after seeing my review and offered to send their warm/cool mist humidifier that cover 800 sq ft for free, which came quickly and works better. I ran both humidifiers and was able to get my humidity to a comfy 35% after half a day. For full transparency, I will say that they did also ask for a rating upgrade, but I appreciate the service enough that I was willing to do so. For what its worth, if your air is really dry and you have a medium area youre trying to humidifier, the warm/cool model does make a much more noticeable difference. That one uses far more electricity and is a lot more difficult to fill and clean though, so if youre looking to add just a bit more moisture to a small space, this model is alright.

> 3 dayLike many people that need to heat their homes, the heat combined with the dry winter air leads to fairly low humidity indoors. My thermometer/hydrometer shows a humidity level of around 20-25% without any help, which is quite a bit lower than recommended (which is around 30-40%). I have used several humidifiers in the past, of all different types, but theyve generally all had water reservoirs that were difficult to clean, other parts/mechanisms that were difficult to clean, or filters that were expensive and needed constant replacing. These are not random humidifiers either, but ones recommended by pretty trustworthy sites! Anyway onto this Homvana humidifier. This is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so theres basically a vibrating pad that generates a mist. Unlike steaming units, the mist is cool so theres no burn danger. It has a nozzle on top that you can rotate to slightly affect the direction of the mist, but it does basically go straight up. In terms of effectiveness, I am using this in my living room which is about 200 sq ft, though attached to a hallway (though my home is only like 700 sq ft in total, so not huge). After running it for about 12 hours, it brought the humidity up from 26% to 35%, about 10%. Ive only been using it for less than a day, so I will update after Ive used it for a few days, but the output may be suited only to smaller rooms like a bedroom. This Homvana humidifier is pretty easy to clean. All the electronic parts are in the top; the base is just a big container for the water. No tiny openings, no hard corners, so its very easy to clean. The instructions indicate that the only thing to clean in the top part is the ultrasonic part at the bottom of the stem. Theres an opening so you can refill the water without needing to take off the top, though if you have a lot of water to refill its easier to just open it and fill it up, though youll have to find a place to put the top part down while you refill the bottom water reservoir. Ill report after a month or so what kind of gunk builds up inside using purified water (run through a water filter). Note that the power cord plugs into the top part, so its a little unsightly. In terms of features, this covers all the basics -- you get 3 different levels of output, a sleep timer, and an auto mode that tries to keep the humidity level around 60%. This does also report the humidity level and its pretty close to my thermometer/hydrometer. This has a light that is fairly soft and could be used as a night light; theres several colors that you can cycle through. So far, while the output seems a bit less than claimed, it is shaping up to be a good humidifier -- Ill update my review in a month or so to reflect how easy or not it is to clean and keep running.

> 3 dayThis is a very nice size for my bedroom. I also like the fact that I can put essential oils in the front. So I can have what ever smell I want.

12-11-2024This is a humidifier that is easy to refill as it has an area on top that you can pour water into INDSTEAD of taking full head off. The size is for 5 lires of water and has a maximum running time of 40hrs.There is led lighting mode and space for essential oils so can be used for aromatherapy. I find it to be quiet enough. The control functions are easy to use and located right on top. I find it to be super light when carrying from room to room. Does add moisture to room and helps a bit for my skin to be not so dry. I think its well thought out. Good size and looks nice plu easy set up which I appreciated. I hope this may help.

> 3 dayUPDATE - After three months of use, it has stopped working well. This morning the gauge was at 78% humidity and there was water all over the floor from the amount of mist it spewed along with on the top of the unit. This has now happened for the third time. I am not sure the product is going to last any longer. This review is for Homvana Cool Mist Humidifier, 5L Top Fill Ultrasonic Vaporizer after three days of use. The good - Extremely well packaged item - Very sleek and expensive looking humidifier, also one of the best design on the market. - 5L Tank with top refill and also the design that reduces leaks and spills to zero. - Easy to clean and maintain - The quietest humidifier we have ever had, and we own some good brands of humidifiers. - Love the 7 light modes but too bright to use as a night light in my opinion so we keep the light off at night. - Love the auto feature and ability to turn off the light off and on. - Love the ability to keep the mist on high or low when not in auto mode - The price is pretty compatible with other brands on the market. - Essential oil compartment which opens and close with a small push with fingers. - Comes with a user’s guide, a few essential oil spare filters and a brush to clean internal part. - Above all these features, the best part is ease of cleaning and knowing you have cleaned all the parts completely. The bad - None. Overall, the best bang for our buck when it comes to cool mist humidifier. We are extremely happy with it. Greater than one weekThe first thing I noticed when I took this out of the box is how pretty it is. Its very sleek. It has an almost frosted glass look to it. The buttons are touch sensitive instead of sticking out and it has a small screen which displays all the information. Its small and compact while still holding a gallon of water. The instructions to set it up were very simple and concise. I had no problems with it. The essential oil diffuser made this a must have purchase for me. You only need 2-3 drops of oil and you can smell it thoroughly. Theres a separate tray specifically for the oil, which they are clear to indicate in the instructions. The only problem I have with the design of this is the two spouts the mist comes out of. Its two circles that diffuse it. The problem is, you can only spin the smaller one to change the direction of the mist. As most people would probably have this on a table by a wall, the majority of the mist would spray behind the humidifier towards the wall. You cant turn it around because then the buttons on the top would be facing the wall. Youre meant to set the humidifier up at least 12 inches from a wall, but I dont think thats enough room for most of the mist to avoid the wall. Overall, I highly recommend this. Its very attractive and compact. It works very efficiently at spraying the mist (although, it would go towards the wall if you set it up like that) and the LED lights and essential oil diffuser are amazing.

> 3 dayThis this is just a basic humidifier it work really well with out any essential oils. The concept of the essential oil doesn’t work well at all, you don’t add the oil to the water like others I used. For this humidifier you have a slot at the back of the machine you pull out and add the oil to a foam piece. It doesn’t work well at you can’t even smell your essential oils, so if your looking for one for this main reason this will not work for you.
