This set is perfect for softer material. Drywall, soft wood… The set is not made or marketed for metal.

Easy to use and drill, just replace my regular drill bits and make perfect size holes on the dry wall. Good for indoor wiring the sound system or network.

Hole saws can be problematic because the material gets packed in and stuck to the saw. An additional problem is that the mounting plates insert is easily lost. I mention these shortfalls not because they are unique to this product but because they are inherent with hole saws. So, when a nice inexpensive option such as this product becomes available, you can get several and not worry if you want to make them disposable. Specifically, this is a great product without for saws (1.25, 1.5, 1.75, and 2.12). The larger size (2.12) is a bit odd, but depending on your use, it might be okay.

I actually bought 2 of these. The first, I was making a rain barrel and needed to cut a hole in a metal drum for the faucet fitting. Big mistake, I did cut the hole and finished the rail barrel, but pretty much ruined the hole saw blade doing it. The blades are really intended for softer things, wood, plastic, etc and its a very affordable set. On my second set, I needed the same size hole (as the blade I ruined on the metal drum) for the metal rain gutter, some plastic and a 2x4. It works much better with the softer material and the thinner, softer rain gutter (aluminum I think), was ok. But, in spite of how it worked on the metal drum, its so affordable, I think Id do it again. Even buying the set, using it once and throwing it away, youre better off with this very affordable set of blades than a way more expensive set. If youre a shop or running a commercial business, you probably want the more expensive set anyway and this low cost set probably isnt for you, but for most people, that need to cut a whole, maybe a door knob, faucet fixture or something, its absolutely the best and most economical choice.

This is a hole saw kit with four sizes of blades which is a nice feature. The blades are good for cutting into wood, drywall, plastic, etc. but not for cutting glass, ceramic, metal, or hardwood. It is good for cutting holes for locksets and doorknobs in hollow core doors and solid wood doors. At this price point, I don’t expect the blades to be too durable but it will be a nice surprise if they hold up against higher-priced blades.

I had high hopes for this hole saw set. But they were quickly dashed once I started using it. They do include multiple sizes which is nice; and a hex key for adjusting. But the hex key is thin and easily gets stuck in the screw hole when you try to tighten it down. When you’re going to get the Allen hex key out, it ends up loosening the screw some. Every time I tried to drill a hole in plywood, it would end up coming loose and just stop drilling. I was never actually able to get a hole through the plywood because it kept coming apart from the drill bit. I cannot recommend this set based off of my experience with it.

Its a good set, but Im not sure if this is really made for steel. Possibly works well for wood though! Comes with adapter and Allen wrench.

Decent value set for what you get. I got these specifically to drill a few oversized holes in my drywall to run cables through. They worked very well for that purpose. I cant comment on how well they do with wood, but they made clean cuts in my 5/8 drywall. Overall satisfied

This is a very inexpensive hole saw set made for softer materials. They appear to be of decent quality and able to handle the materials claimed. I think they are definitely worth the price.
