These drives are on the supported list for the LSI 9260-8i. However, the adapter says that they are unsupported. I contacted LSI and they say that these are either faulty drives (I bought 8, 100% failure rate? Really?) or that they are not retail versions. They are not listed as OEM drives, so how is it that they are not retail? Be careful here
