This basket is adorable. It is made of a nice heavy rope. Great quality. Makes a nice large storage basket. A little too small for a family laundry basket though. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Read reviews that said there were problems with basket keeping a round shape or that the ears were bent. I didnt have these problems. Manually manipulated into round shape and ears stood straight up. Wouldnt be an appropriate laundry basket but will be great for cat toys. Right now, cats are just enjoying playing in it.

Its perfect and encourages my 6yo to bring her own laundry down from her room. It had a very slight odor when I opened it. About an hour outside and there was no trace of a smell at all. I think it was the packaging, not the actual item. No complaints. We all love it.
