It fits well over an exterior apartment door. The brushed nickel makes for a nice look, as though it was intentional to show the hanger without it being a tacky black or white color. Though my door is a dark color, allowing it to blend in somewhat, I feel this would look well on any colored door, including wood. The door hanger keeps the height you set it to and it is easy to change if needed. Though the material feels like it will last a long time, I would purchase again if needed.

Had it adjusted, installed and a lighted wreath on it in maybe 30 seconds, and for the four days its been up, no problems even through some heavy winds.

I used this to hang a pinecone heart-shaped wreath. I love the copper color and the finish - it is very elegant and refined.

Only giving this a 4 because it’s suppose to be “gold” but it doesn’t look gold or gold-ish at all... disappointing... love that it extends tho. Works well.

Just arrived and absolutely perfect! Fits our 8 ft door perfectly and the over the door “hook” absolutely does not move when door is opened and closed. Exact color that I expected! I’m beyond pleased! Finding an over the door wreath hanger locally that is the right length for our front door has been a challenge! We just had our house painted and I did not want to put a nail or anything on our front door as it looks brand new! Thank You Amazon - you always seem to have what I need!

When I try to make the hanger longer, I can see that part is so weak, its hardly support the wreath. The color doesnt look nice. However, I wont recommend this hanger.

I’ve had these for about 6 months and they’re great! They don’t ding our doors and they are adjustable. I’d recommend this to anyone. I guess just beware of the thickness of your door. Mine are 1 3/4 I believe? Not totally sure but they work great.

Sturdy and adjustable! Previously had my heavy wreath on heavy plastic and it broke. This is much sturdier.

This over door hook is absolutely perfect. It is easily adjustable, very sturdy, and the antique bronze color blends in nicely with my door. I was able to adjust the length so my wreath was not interfering with my ability to see out my peep-hole!
