I have a love/hate relationship with fly masks. My other horse, who is not a mask fan, cheese-grated his face by rubbing it on the coarse mesh of a standard Farnam/Cashel type mask before, so I only use fly masks that have fine mesh and that stand well away from the eyes and face. This mask has both, all of the edges that touch skin are covered in soft fleece, and the cob size fits my dinky-headed 15.1hh Arab who wears cob everything but pony sometimes perfectly. I think for my other Arab, who is big at 15.3hh and has a much more pronounced dish (and big forehead) I would need to purchase a full. The only thing its missing is double-locking Velcro but thats often an inconvenience when busy barn staff are doing mask on/mask off. Finally, the bright colors mean itll be easy to find in the field if he gets it off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful pink, nice fabric, big velcro strips. Fits well, off the eyes.

I have been using this all summer, because my horse gets horrible little bites in her ears, and they get sensitive and scabby. This solved the problem, and she can see well out of them. If I can see her eyes and the blaze on her face, she can see me! Also, I take it off every feeding and then put it back on, to make sure there are no rubs or issues, and she has never lost it in the field.

I ordered the mint color and the color is actually more of a blue (see photos). The mask is on a yearling and the pony size seems to fit. It doesnt lay right on his face, giving his eyes room. I like the high visibility the mask offers bc you can see his eyes without having to fully take the mask off. The mesh is more durable feeling than I had thought which is also good. Hes only been wearing it for 2 days so I cant speak for if the mask holds up durability-wise or if he keeps it on

I have an average, 15 hand Quarter Horse mare. I ordered the full size thinking that it might be slightly too large, but I figured I could just tighten the velcro straps underneath if that was the case. Instead, the two points that were supposed to go over her eyes were way too close together, making the mask quite snug and would touch her eyes. There were no adjustments I could make to fix this issue unfortunately, so I have returned the mask. As a result, I would not recommend this mask for anyone else who has an average sized horse and especially not for larger warmbloods/drafts.

I bought small pony size and almost sent it back, but have it tight as can be and stays on most of the time. Its super cute and well made so decided to keep it.
