After reading all the reviews and installation instructions, we ordered this for our RV outdoor light replacement. It was relatively easy to install but was smaller than the previous light we removed. As some of the reviews stated, we put it in and pulled the tape off as we went. Our track was so large we did have to use some clear silicone ever so often to tack it down and keep it still until it dried well. It looks good and worked fine when we direct wired it into our camper light switch, non-dimmable. Since we got the long line, it came with a plug-in and dimmer. We had enough left that we could do a small amount of under cabinet lighting which enabled us to use the controls that came with it. So far we are very satisfied with both areas. The interior is dimmable and one color but perfect for us. The 3M backing sticks very well so far to the back side of our granite. Only time will tell how the lights hold up. It has been less than 30 days

Replaced recessed flouresents.

The only reason I gave this one a 4-star review is b/c the adhesion isnt good. I was attaching this to HVAC foil tape, which should have adhered very easily and very strongly. However, it did not! It does come with a handful of anchors to help hold it in place if that matters to anyone. Personally, why would you want to anchor it inside a home when it is supposed to have the ability to stick? Definitely not the real deal 3M tape! Im sure the anchors are intended for outdoor use. However, you may have to even use them indoors. Everything else about this product is fantastic and well made!

Adhesive is very strong and easy to apply. Used these as gunnell lights on my bass boat

The lights were slightly less bright than I’d thought, but they are 12V and I was expecting brightness comparable to the strip I installed using 110V household current. I installed them around the door frame inside a pantry using a refrigerator door switch in the door jam. Once you open the door, the lights come on and give excellent floor to ceiling, shadow free, coverage of all the shelves inside. The strip itself seems very robust and I anticipate many years of service from it. The adhesive is very good, but I would recommend not unrolling it from the spool until you’re ready to install it. If it’s unrolled, sections of the backing separate from the adhesive due to straightening it out and dust can collect on the adhesive. Even with that said, it still stuck to the painted door frame very nicely!

I was skeptical at first, but I bought these to replace my RV outside light strips. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the adhesive back was 3M. After cleaning the surface, I mounted these lights on the outside of my RV under the rollout cover and have been very happy with them. They are just as bright as the ones they replaced, and instillation was a breeze. I did have to modify the connector to they would connect to my existing wiring but that was something I chose to do and is not required.

Does not come with adapter. So find one that works with this or u gotta require it. Has silicone on top for water protection, easy to cut

Easy install, HOWEVER no power adapter. Any help would be appreciated.
