Amazon asked me if this item is chew proof. It is not because it is meant to be chewed. Our family meat potato (that what I call our pig named Stitch) seems to find it quite delicious and when not tearing the house down, he is napping inside. Good product!

Great guinea pig house! I have 2 guinea pigs. I have bought every house imaginable. The wood ones are good, but my girls sit on top and pee. Its hard to clean, then I tried plastic, easy to clean but they chew them, which isnt great for health. These are perfect, they eat them and when they get gross, just pitch them. Also they are open at both ends and the girls love it! They run in and out in circles around the box. I definitely recommend as the safest, cleanest way to provide houses!

I used this for my guinea pig, since my vet told me to discard the wooden hides I previously had, which had caused my piggy tooth problems. She likes it, but I should not have opened both sides, since she likes sleeping in dark quarters. My only complaint is the price. For a product that is only cardboard, they are quite expensive, as are all Guinea Dad products I have seen or own.

I like that it has front and back openings. Piggies seem to like it but there’s one major problem. They ate the box. It lasted all of 2 weeks. For 14.99 there should be more than 3 boxes.

A snap to assemble and my girl loves running in and out as well as using for a hidey . Many of the boxes we receive in the mail have been treated with chemicals to keep the products safe, but these have not. They are safe to chew on and provide hours of entertainment. I gave one star on cleaning because they are cardboard and would break down with any solution. Mine have not yet become dirty, but they are inexpensive and disposable.

This was perfect for my guinea pig! He loves to go in and out and chewed all over on the box. Great for his teeth! Thank you!

Chewing on it right away. Its such a cute box and I know its safe for them to eat as its not treated with any chemicals.

My guinea pig loves these houses. She chews on the sides and oftentimes I’ll catch her looking through the window at me. This is my favorite hideout option, because I find a lot of the other ones are plastic & not great for her to chew on! Would definitely recommend :)
