G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz for Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-32GVK

This RAM kit installed easily enough and checks out with Memtest86 software. The only thing I will say is that the product description is a little misleading as it states for Z170 platform. While this is in fact correct, be sure to check your the QVL (Qualified Vendors List) on the Motherboard manufacturers website. My Asus Z170-AR only supports speeds up to 3000Mhz so although the RAM works perfectly, Im not getting the full 3200Mhz advertised. Not really a big deal (and my own fault for not checking) but you may be able to save a few bucks by getting slower speed RAM if your Motherboard doesnt support 3200Mhz like mine. Otherwise, Im happy with the purchase.

The XMP profile(or whatever AMD calls theirs) failed to post. Went through and messed with timings and such and no matter what I did I couldnt get the ram to post above 2666mhz. Will probably be sending it back to get something else and stick with my 3600mhz 16gb kit for now.

For the first couple months, they worked fine, but then my computer started shutting down and/or restarting randomly. I took it to a specialist and he ran a bunch of tests, turns out one of the ram sticks was the problem. Took out the stick and all was well again. I can still use the one that works but what a waste.

2nd DOA kit in a row. My son has this same memory and loves it, but I can’t seem to get a working one.

... hatte 16, hätte auch nicht mehr gebraucht. Aber jetzt habe ich 32 und der Rechner kann deutlich besser durchatmen. Leichter universeller Performancezugewinn.

Have no problems whatsoever with this item. I use it for gaming, video editing and music producing. Love it.
