And I am happy. I have a Ryzen 2700X and wanted to get a compatible RAM. I think the speed of the RAM, doesnt matter. but had the extra bucks to spare and decided to get this. I am happy with its performance.

Upgraded RAM because I started getting blue screens after upgrading 1600X to 3600X and have not experienced any issues or crashes yet (albeit I upgraded from B450 to X570 as well). Obviously it states it was designed for Intel, however, it is working for my Ryzen just fine. Rumor has it Ryzen is picky with its RAM.

Not sure what issues people are having with this RAM. It works perfectly at 3200MHZ on my computer. Maybe the motherboard chipset is the problem for some people. I have had these in my ASUS Z170I Mini-ITX motherboard for a few months now without any problems at all. The BIOS on my motherboard allowed me to easily select the clock speed of 3200MHz and it performs great. In case you want to know more about my whole build here are my specs:

Another reviewer reported getting SK Hynix ram in his kit. However, my G.Skill Ripjaws V 2 x 16GB kit (F4-3200C16D-32GVK ) was populated with Samsung B-Die which is typically more capable of attaining the highest performance settings. However, at CL16, this memory kit seems to made up of lower binned Samsung B-Die. To put it simply, of all the 3200MHz B-Die kits out there, this one is probably one of the slower ones. The slower capability is reflected in its price. Its also one of the cheapest B-Die 2 x 16 GB kits on the market. With memory being in short supply because of the pandemic, this kit is an absolute bargain.

The ram was easy to install but prices were a little higher than the places I usually go to. It did however arrive next day and was plug and play.

SOOOOO easy and price is right

I purchased 2 sticks of 16gb RAM since I have had good experiences in the past with the Gskills ram. For the first 6 months, it worked great. Sadly, with further use I started to more and more frequently get bluescreens due to memory corruption. Memtest doesnt even get past the first test before it detects hardware faults. I just recently purchased a smaller/cheaper ram set in order for me to keep my machine running while I try to navigate the Gskills warranty program. Not upset, but Im definately not overly impressed.

My original package contained one stick that arrived DOA. Once replaced, these are running great and incredibly fast for the price and volume of RAM. Good enough deal if you are prepared to do a little troubleshooting.

I got them and installed them and immediately the XMP profile was active via bios so i had nothing else to do but use and abuse them in video editing.
