> 3 dayI purchased this grout pen for the grout in my shower tile. The grout was stained orange and no amount of scrubbing would change that. Eventually I want to redo my entire shower, but until then, I needed a quick fix. This grout pen worked perfectly. Not only was it super easy to use (think of a paint marker where you just have to pump the tip down a few times and to get it flowing), but it made an instant difference. I got some on my arm by not being careful while sprawled out on my shower floor at 2 am working on this project but it washed off with soap and water. However, I’ve taken several showers since painting the grout and that has NOT washed out. I haven’t actually scrubbed my shower since painting, so I will update my review if the scrubbing action causes the paint to come off.

03-11-2024Not hard to use. Need more than one. Covers well, but the felt tip gets frayed so application becomes difficult.

> 3 dayThis was my first time using a grout pen. It worked as intended. You can definitely see the difference from before. It took me a second to get the hang of using the pen, as far as shaking it, dabbing it, and then gliding it. Im an impatient person. I wore through the tip pretty easily. The seller was kind enough to send me replacement tips for no extra charge with a reminder of how to best use the product. From there, it was smooth sailing. I do wish that flow of ink was more consistent; thered be times when it would flow like an uncontrollable river and then other times where I had to dab and press to get the smallest amount out. In those moments, I thought the pen was dry...until the uncontrollable river would yet again flow. I guess im saying that its hard to know when the pen is actually dry. To grout seal my master bath floor, shower, upstairs bath floor, and laundry room, I ended up buying 4-5 of these pens. It adds up, but theres not much you can do about it. And its a good product. It did what I wanted it to do. I bought one last pen to have for touchups.

> 3 dayI like the way the pens work initially but the points wear down and fray very fast. Then you can’t get them into the grout space between the tile

> 3 dayI bought this product at the recommendation of a neighbor who has the same old tile floors in her condo. I didnt want to spend a ton of money to replace my bathroom floor so I gave this a shot. I originally purchased 2 pens thinking that would be enough. I went through the 2 pens after doing half of the floor (you can see my bathroom size in the photo). I ended up ordering 3 more. In total I ended up needing 5 pens for my bathroom floor. Depending on the condition of your floor, the process of painting between the tiles can be long and tedious. Mine were in rough shape and needed 3 coats to cover the old grout. It took me approximately 6 hours to finish which I did in increments (2 hours for the first coat then let dry, 2 hours for the second then let dry, 2 hours for the third). I had the TV on in the background so it wasnt bad. I had to get in a rhythm of shaking the pen and gently pushing it on the tile, but once you get the hang of it, its easy. Do not press hard when applying it or you will crush the tip. The only negative thing I could say is that I wish the consistency of the paint would have been a bit thicker so I didnt have to apply so many coats, but otherwise, great product!

> 3 dayI was tired of looking at the greyed grout in my bathroom and I was hoping this would perk them up without the time and effort re-caulking would take, and it worked. It looks good. It was quick and easy to use and it has brightened up the walls. It feels clean and fresh again, without a painstaking full on caulk project. Now to address some of the negative comment made by others: For the tiles with cracked or missing pieces of caulk, they needed to be re-caulked. This pen was made to stick to existing caulk, it is not to be used to patch a crack or a hole, it really wont do the trick. The pen tip does get frayed but you can pull it out and turn it around and use the other side. It is not a super fine tip, so you may color outside the lines. This is not a big deal. Once it is dry, a straight razor blade will clean the edges quickly and neatly, It wont take long at all. I dont think the pen is a long term fix for high traffic areas, like the floor, the tiles that get hit constantly during a shower, or a counter top that gets cleaned multiple times a day. Those should be re-done with proper caulking. But I am very happy with the look of my refreshed bathroom and how little effort it took to get it.

> 3 dayThis product is easy to use and makes the grout look great, but the tip easily deteriorates, though Im not sure to what extent this is a problem with its actual application.
