Gorilla Heavy Duty Large Core Packing Tape for Moving, Shipping and Storage, 1.88 x 40 yd, Clear, (Pack of 1)

Utterly useless product. I have been a loyal Gorilla glue products user for over two decades, so when I decided to move across the country, I turned to them for quality packing tape. Well, that was a big mistake. Within hours of the first use of the tape, it started to let go of the box and go slack. By the time my items arrived at my new place, nearly all the tape had lost its adhesion to the boxes, and the boxes were falling apart. So please dont waste your money on this product; it is useless for moving and box sealing. I will never buy this type of product from Gorrila ever again.

Its ok. Dont believe its heavy duty

In the decade since I graduated college, I’ve moved no fewer than 14 times for one reason or another. I’ve also coordinated moves for large library collections. I’ve put tape from the competing brands through its paces and came away with unstuck tape and low expectations. Gorilla truly has a superior product in this tape. It feels thicker than competing tapes and is even harder to cut when unpacking boxes closed with it. Other tapes delaminate in heat, humidity, or if you look at them sideways. This tape held tough for a month in a portable storage pod during a wet, hot Florida summer. Crystal clear material means box labels are legible and protected underneath. I had a tape gun already, but this tape came without a dispenser / cutter device. Designing an upgrade to the typical tape wedge roll cutter would be my only suggestion for improving this product. I’m actually using this tape as a frame protector for my bicycle. This is a much cheaper alternative to specific use frame protector and seems to be doing a good job. It’s crystal clear and does not obstruct any decals.

I love this tape! I once had a business where all the products were packed and taped. Although I cant complain since the tape always did a great job — I just really like this tape and find it a great addition to my home office.

Adhesion not what I expected for gorilla product.

I used a roll on this on packages that normally take at least two rolls of other brands. This has become my new favorite packaging tape.
