Garmin fēnix 5s, Premium and Rugged Smaller-Sized Multisport GPS Smartwatch, Silver/Black

I have owned the watch for 9 months now and it’s been a big let down. I work out 5-8 times a week between running and gym. If you’re just going to use it for running it might be fine but I would want a lot more out of a watch that costs this much. At the gym it can’t hold my heart rate. I’ve heard the argument that it’s a wrist hr monitor so it won’t be accurate but Fitbit can do it why can’t Garmin. (I owned a Fitbit before this watch). I like most things about the watch but for a hr monitor watch it better be able to monitor my hr without a chest monitor. It’s also supposed to tell me my lactate thresholds but it hasn’t done that once. Also, after using the Garmin App for 9 months I absolutely despise that app. I would think for this price it would be the best app on my phone. They throw everything at the app but at the end of the day it’s like the app team each live in different countries without email. So many problems there I couldn’t list them all without spending an hour writing, and frankly Garmin doesn’t deserve that type of time from me. Garmin is supposed to be at the top of their game and this was supposed to be the #1 watch. I’m already looking elsewhere for my next sports watch. Oh, when I first bought it it had European specks too. Had to send it back in.

This is my 2nd Garmin watch! I upgraded my forerunner after my Apple Watch broke and this watch is way better than any smart watches out there! Beautiful look!

Im still learning cool things about this watch. Its been very useful in helping me reach heart rate goals. Add the map, barometer, compass and all the exercises and this thing is definitely worth the money

The only reason I didnt give the Bluetooth connectivity a full 5 stars is that I often need to restart my phone to reconnect, but that might actually be a problem with my phone rather than my Fenix 5.

Two months in to using the watch and I am loving it! Works great and I keeping tracking of my daily routine and my work outs

Great watch. I use it only for running. Ive owned the 630 and 620. This watch is far superior. For those that like touchscreen the fenix requires buttons control instead of use of the screen. I prefer this considering sweat after long runs would interfere with touch screen controls on the 630/620. The heart rate monitor is a plus also on the wrist. I recommend getting the sensor that attaches to waistband if you want the full metrics. Ive ran several races and the gps has been spot on with mile markers.

Highly configurable, does everything but butter your toast. Comfortable to wear. Great app interface on the iPhone. I use it for steps, HR, sleep function, second hand, weather, etc. Love the downloadable faces.

Compré el 5x, y me llego el 5, una farsa

Es un gran reloj como lo era el Fénix 3. Es cierto que tal vez el precio sea un poco excesivo pero tiene mejor diseño y más completo. Lo de la correa con cambio fácil lo encuentro más un peligro que una ventaja. A la larga acabará soltándose y te puedes quedar sin reloj. Tampoco era tan difícil soltar dos tornillos como para tener que asumir este riesgo con un reloj de cerca de 600€.
