> 3 dayThe features and construction of this watch are excellent, but the display backlight is sub-par for a device in this price range. The bigger issue appears to be a quality and/or manufacturing deficiency at Garmin since only some of these watches come with a defective washed-out backlight. I myself purchased this watch about three months ago after doing extensive research and I was willing to accept the fact that the display uses LCD technology with low pixels (most other high end watches have OLED screens). However, what I didnt realize at the time of purchase was that Garmin was shipping some watches with blue-tinted washed out backlights, or as their customer service reps refer to it, differing levels of contrast. I reached out to Garmin directly via email yesterday to ask if they are aware of Fenix 6 users having this problem with their watches and what I can do to get a replacement watch. Here is the response that I received from Jared: The fēnix 6 series has better screens across the product line than available on previous fēnix models (larger and more pixels). Some differences between screens is normal when comparing watches side by side. Even though there is some variability from watch to watch, they all meet our design standards. Talk about an indifferent response to a legitimate question! I responded by saying that he didnt actually answer my question. Here was Jareds response: I apologize that my reply didnt directly address your question about replacement. Unfortunately, this is not something we are able to exchange a device for as we can not guarantee if the device would like one or the other (screens in the photo) as I stated, there can be some differences in the contrast displayed by the device. So basically Garmin doesnt even know which products are shipping with good vs. bad screens and it is just a roll of the dice as far as what product shows up on your doorstep. I give zero stars to Garmin customer service for not making an effort to remedy this known manufacturing defect with consumers. I give zero stars to Garmin as a company for not being able to offer products with consistent standards of quality.

Greater than one weekI upgraded from the Vivoactive 4 I had used for a year - which is a good watch as well. The Fenix 6 Sapphire does it all, I use mine for running, the elliptical, walking, and the training program that Garmin offers. Well built with not so bad of a learning curve.

> 3 dayFor the price tag, this watch felt awfully dainty and fragile as well as disproportionate.

> 3 dayGreat size for sub-7” male wrist for daily use. Doesn’t look “tactical”, like you’re some kind of over-zealous cop, prepper, or Militia wannabe.

> 3 dayBuen reloj funciona bien y es lo que esperaba, únicamente sentí desconfianza en la publicación porque todos hablan en las opiniones de otras versiones y les dan malas reseñas y al final no sabes bien que versión se está comprando, pensé que vendría con la correa de titanio y la naranja pero esta versión zafiro solo es con la correa naranja.
