Garmin 010-02064-71 Instinct Tactical, Rugged GPS Watch, Tactical Specific Features, Constructed to U.S. Military Standard 810G for Thermal, Shock and Water Resistance, Tan

So far Ive been on a single charge for 1 week and the battery is not even half way down. GPS is spot on and controls are easy to use. No complaints.

Battery life is sporadic. Sometimes the battery will last for a week with no noticable loss of charge and other times, while being used the same way, battery will be dead in 3 days. I also find that the buttons will be pushed by me just performing everyday tasks, so when i go to check my watch, i have to navigate thru a screen or 2 to get back to basic watch face. Minor issue to be sure, but still annoying

Nothing bad to say about fit , looks or function of watch. BUT , the battery has to be charged every night. Turned Bluetooth off, back light down to lowest settings and haven’t used functions at all and by 9pm it has one bar left . Save your money

worked great, survived the great Garmin 10 million dollar hijack of servers, loved it till now. it now randomly un pairs from phone app and have to re pair the watch to app. i shut it off as well as phone and restarted it worked for 12 hrs then disconnected again. personally i would RUN away from purchasing this and or anything Garmin related. for 300$ you would think the watch would last more than 4 months. simply a piece of trash.

I ordered the Garmin Instinct Tactical as a potential replacement for my aging GarminTactix Bravo watch. The Instinct is well over half the price of the new Garmin Tactix Delta but with some missing functionality. For me the deal breakers were 2 fold:

Takes a touch of getting used to learning how to operate like fiddeling for a day but favorite watch I have ever had looks sick works great.
