With 100 feet of lighting, this adds a nice amount of light to a worksite that might otherwise need lighting stands every 15 feet or so. You will need a place to hang them though. This hasnt been an issue for me. But I do see that for some, you might have an issue if the ceiling is already finished. They seem to be durable enough. None of the lights have died with being banged around and shoved in tools boxes and thrown in the back of truck beds. My only complaint is that you need a small carabiner to hook on the light. It would have been nice if the hole on the light was a little bigger to accommodate a larger variety of hanging options.

These worklights are far ahead of the old school bulb style, much brighter and overall more compact and durable. The only arguable point is that these lights use a much smaller diameter cord, (about 5/16 O.D.), than old style lights, so might be more suseptable to physical damage. Each globe has a caribiner to facilitate hanging. They can be connected together to get longer runs. A nice addition to this set would be a sturdy carry satchel or duffle bag to aid in transport and storage.

I got these to actually string above a lot where each year, I work selling live Christmas trees. The string is 100 feet long, so it will be able to encircle a large section of the lot, supplementing the lights that are already there. I tested these by running them along the fence in my back yard to see how bright they were. As you can see in the picture, they are nice and bright - so bright, that I think during the non-Christmas tree lot season, I might use these in my back yard as party lights! One bummer that I discovered is that when I pulled the string out of the box, it became a giant, tangled mess, which is why theres a large clump of lights at the far right of the picture. I fiddled with them for 5-10 minutes trying to untangle it, but finally gave up. That is my only complaint thus far, so if you get one of these sets, youre definitely going to need to wind them up on a cord reel or something when storing, because untangling is a nightmare because the lights get caught as youre trying to pull the cords out.

These are perfect for construction sites that always need temporary lighting, better than the oldschool brewery lights that always seem to have a bulb out, a missing or broken cage or both. These seem durable, theyre easy to set up and super bright. The one thing I did notice is the lights put off a fair amount of heat not as mush as a halogen or incandescent bulb but more than I was expecting from an LED.

So, this is a great way to have flexible, good color lighting that doesnt have a high wattage cost. I have mine set up in three rows. Gives my work area some uniform area light so I can pickup stuff I drop. Now for the warning: Its a hundred feet of cord. It appears someone took the time to actually train the cord, and even secure it in a couple places with some wrap, to make it easy to unravel and put into service... Yeah, it wasnt easy, but I had expectations that it might get tangled. Great area lighting!

I first noticed the quality materials used. That is very handy when moving these to different job sites. The light output is fantastic. Plug and play lights are exactly what I needed. I will buy these again.
