These are pretty straightforward. Glass, thick enough to be quite sturdy. Would not break if dropped onto carpet. Dont think they would break if they were dropped on wood. Afraid that they might at least chip, possibly leaving a sharp edge, if dropped onto stone or tile. The set included feeding tweezers that I didnt need and wont use. Im not really grading the tweezers as part of my rating since I wouldnt use them for the intended purpose even if I did use them. If I have one complaint its that the set could have been a bit cheaper. I wouldnt be surprised if I could find something cheaper some place like the dollar store, but instead of waste a couple dollars worth of gas in the search, Id rather get them online. The two main reasons I bought these instead of looking at cheap nearby stores were that it was easy to search for them online instead of driving out to stores to look and theyre supposed to be food-safe. Not that I entirely trust all the products listed on Amazon to be what they claim to be, but I have no particular reason to believe that they arent. They certainly were made for decoration so there doesnt seem to be any reason to think that something like lead would be in the glass. I was sick of using the Pangaea plastic cups because I wanted something less wasteful. With these, I can put them in the dishwasher, top shelf, and not worry that they will be harmed. I also like these cups because they are large enough for my crested geckos to get their heads into to eat from but small enough so that I can use less food paste each day without having it dry up on me. I needed something that fit into my Magnaturals gecko ledges and these work just fine for that. Let me know if you appreciate the review. Thanks. :)
