I bought this for it to be used in my boyfriends office where he smokes but the room is pretty big and open so this really didnt do the job but i moved it to my sons bathroom and I keep the door cracked when not in use and well it does a pretty good job. I shake mine up every couple of days to move the beads around and release more scent. The scent isnt very strong which is good so its not overpowering however i would suggest best use in a half bathroom or a small room with the door closed or cracked to mask odors. It lasts pretty long over time the beads just die they are like water beads. Ive had mine for a little over a month. If we leave the bathroom door open then u just dont smell it at all so its just best in an enclosed space. The jar is secure so no worries about spills or beads falling out if you have small children. But put it out of reach anyway b/c the beads do shrink as they die and i dont know if they would fit through the scent openings but why risk it.

I bought this product to eliminate cat litter odor. I keep a litter box in a large linen closet and there is a hole in the door so the cat can come and go. Sometimes the odor does come out of that small opening so I thought this might catch it before it does. It does not!!! On another note, if you buy this do not touch it. these little balls came spilled all over the plastic bag. As you can see from many other reviews, the same thing happened with many other jars . I had to scoop them all back into the container. The substance on these little balls is very strong chemically and even if you wash your hands well one time, it will still be on your fingers. If you lick something off your finger, you will definitely taste the chemicals and it is awful... Believe me!. Wash your hands thoroughly and long after touching it. One good thing is that if you return this product, they do not make you send it back

These last about 2 months in our old house closets. They also majorly improve the smell and really seem to soak up the old house smell. I had a toolbox that something funky smelling got spilled in and all of the tools smell horrible. Currently Ive moved the tools to a new toolbox and the smell is still lingering. Ive put one of these in there and its slowly absorbing the bad smell! These are among the better smelling and better working odor eliminator Ive tried.

I love the way this makes my work truck smell clean and not like a work truck. The beads are cool to have and look at.….but there’s a problem. The container SUUUCKS. It needs a better way of sealing it. The top falls off way too easy. I hit a bump on the road, the jar rolled and hit the ground and there were beads everywhere…. It was frustrating because besides some dirt I keep a neat truck. I’ve bought 3 of these and 2 of them the lid popped off and beads everywhere and the third was stolen when the truck was in the shop. This product needs a threaded lid upgrade and needs to be able to fit in a cup holder to make this product more vehicle friendly.

Scent is nice but only smells if you are holding it to your nose. Not a scent that you can smell even in a small restroom. Wish it were stronger.

The shoe spray and laundry booster are better products

Smells like clean laundry. Works best in smaller areas - time will tell how long it lasts. So far, good buy for the price!

I put this on the kitchen counter to help with cooking smells while we wait for our range hood to be installed. By no means is this fast acting like a spray, but I dont want to use a spray odor eliminator around food. Its moderately perfume-y but not overpowering. You smell the scent more when you give it a little shake. I would love to find an odor eliminator that didnt ADD smells. My husband is prone to migraines and smells make them worse, which is why I got this to try. I like the colors of the beads, they arent garish and look nice on the counter without screaming Im here to eliminate smells!, as long as you turn the label away. When the beads have all been used up, there remained some liquid at the bottom with some tiny beads left. It was as if at some point, most of them just liquified near the end, and it didnt seem to be working any longer so I threw that out with the container. Probably it would be better suited for a small bedroom/dorm room or bathroom, rather than kitchen/dining area.
