> 24 hourThis is another one that I watched as a teenager and remember it being better. Still a good movie though.

> 24 hour愛する人を目の前でなくし、人種差別やDV、中高年の夫婦関係といった問題を女性達が友愛でしなやかにウィットにとんだ会話や行動力で乗り切っていく何よりも重く感じさせない、爽快感すら感じさせてくれます、角度を変えればサスペンスや推理力も要する内容で大好きな作品です。

> 24 hourWhile I have some reservations about the way this film was put together, I have to admit that, at the end, I was very favourably impressed. Possibly the film tried to do too much; possibly it found itself in difficulties at times and lacked clear direction. Whatever the truth of these first impressions, whenever the film started to get lost, it managed to find its way back to the main story without losing this particular viewer. At the same time, although I was occasionally peeved by dialogue that seemed contrived (more so in the first half-hour), the action held my attention with hardly a lapse. This is not easy to do when you are developing two stories concurrently, one in the past, one in the here and now. I must say those occasions when the story in the past was about to resume were not always well handled. Yet these are comparatively minor matters.

> 24 hourTheres really nothing not to like here. Everything comes together like a Renoir painting. Its a gentle, beautiful film about friendship and how relationships can help us grow as human beings. Its lovely to look at. The sequences from 1930s Alabama are lush and rich in lighting, color and costume (outstanding cinematography by Geoffrey Simpson). Fanny Flaggs and Carol Sobieskis script is moving as the characters lack Southern rural stereotypes and are displayed as individuals and real people.
