> 24 hourI have used dozens of Freud bits over the last 25 years and this one was just as good as the rest. Used it to cut out 1 5/8” thick red oak table tops and bases and it got the job done with no problem

> 24 hourThese are great bits. A little more expensive than the cheap sets but they last so much longer and leaves a nice smooth edge. Dont cheap out on router bits, a bearing or a piece chipping off a cheap bit could cause serious bodily injury.

> 24 hourI got tired of installing a dado stack on my table saw, and decided to use my router together with my DeWalt Track Saw track (and the DeWalt router accessory) to make 1/4, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 dados. The table saw is still better at doing things in one cut, but trying to keep a 4 section of MDF dead-straight against the table saws fence is not easy. The router system works much better. As per usual, Freud makes (at least in IMO) the best quality bits on the market that arent beyond my pain tolerance for spending money. I havent had any tear-out, and was able to get a 3/8 dado with two smooth passes. One tip: make sure you keep these clean. The resins and adhesives in plywood and MDF will stick to the cutting edge, and if you dont keep them clean they will not perform nearly as well. Freud, you are a woodworkers BFF.

> 24 hourBit seems well made. Needed it to help make a tenon but the edge it left me was a bit to rough. This is probably more due to my inexperience and the wrong tool for the job. Perhaps it would have been better for making a mortise.
