I would give this product a 5 star but it does have a strong chemical smell and it has a chemical sheen to it. Kind of like when you pour oil in water it has almost like a rainbow look to it.

Durable and exactly what I was expecting

Does not tip or spill! Very easy to clean. Wide and plenty deep enough they are not afraid to step in.

Im not gonna give this a bad rating because I didnt use this product for its intended function, but I wanted to share my experience in case other people try to do the same thing I did. I bought a litter box that looks like a potted plant so that I didnt have a gross looking litter box out in the middle of my living room (sadly there was literally no other place to put it). It was suggested by other customer reviews to make scooping and clean up easier to handle. Amazon even suggested it in the buy this with this section. Well I got it and set it up in the litter box and by the second day the litter was stuck to the pan so bad and there was no way to get the clumps all the way out of the pan. Litter sticks very badly to the sides as well. Extremely messy. I ended up throwing it out and just putting litter straight in there and its a million times easier to clean. Just a warning in case anyone else was going to do the same thing.

We have a pet potbelly pig that can destroy her feeding dish with one shake of her head! This one is low enough she can easily reach her food and durable enough I think it will survive the antics of Mr. Wilbur!

I have five german shepherds so having water available to them while outside is a huge necessity and these fit the bill perfectly. They are large enough where they dont tip them and big enough that one of them placed on either side of the back yard gives them plenty of water. We spray out with the hose on a daily basis and refill. They did have a rubber smell when first taken out of the box but that went away within hours of being placed outside in the fresh air.

So I use this for a cat litter pan in a litter box. Ordered in January this year. Have had no real issues with it. If youre using it or thinking of using it for the same purpose: the litter isnt that hard to get off the pan. With regular litter box scoping it shouldnt be sticking too much. I will say, however, my cats pee must be very potent because the smell send to have absorbed into the rubber.. also, when I cleaned it by rinsing it out, the black began bleeding off and the pan has taken on a blue color.. which bleeds any time I rinse it now. I took away s start because of the color bleeding and holding onto the smell a little bit, but otherwise it does what I need it to do.. Im sure it makes a good feeder pan too
