Update: The seller offered to refund the entire cost of the product. I thought this was an extremely generous offer! Definitely impressed by this and will use this seller again. The product works well, but there was no cap on the bottle. I ended up just poking holes in the seal so it’s not just totally open and spillable. Thought that was kinda a weird mistake… like, where did the cap go?? But, like I said, the product itself works well.

The only thing that kept me from making this a 5 star review was that I was using the oil to season a new butcher block cutting board. A friend who makes them, says that the oil should be a little thicker so that it doesnt evaporate while soaking in. So it took me more than the recommended three applications to properly season the board.

This is the first time I’ve cured my cutting boards. I researched a lot of oils, and choose this one due to customer reviews. So far, no problems, dries quickly.

This is a thin, clear, odorless oil that is perfect for conditioning wooden kitchen tools. I used it on all of my wooden kitchen tools: spoons, cutting boards, knife blocks. The oil is not sticky at all and makes the treated items look better than new.

Someone decided to put my good knives in the dishwasher and it dried out the rosewood handles. I was devastated. Purchased this oil because it’s food grade. First treatment looks great… but did not bring the finish back to original color. I’ll follow instructions and use it daily for a week and see how they look. So far so good…
