This was a bit bigger than I thought but China lives it

The height is a little low. I wish it was highter so the hedge hog can get in and out easier.

Definitely very misleading with the size! I will be returning the product. It states that it is 8 x 8 x 6 but it is actually 10 x 11 x 4. It takes up way too much room in my enclosure and is way too short for my tortoise to fit under. I bought this product because 6 inches would give my tortoise a year or more before outgrowing. The product also is not smooth and nicely rounded, it is flat on top with just rounded sides.

My little pacman frog loves to hide under this log. He/she is only about 4-6 months old and pretty tiny. The small size would probably be too small for a full grown or more mature frog.

I found myself having to sand down / pull off tiny pieces of loose wood inside of it. The staples they use for the product tags have also caused me problems.

great for small reptiles

Double-check the dimensions on this extra large log. Its actually very small and I had to return mine.

Not worth it

My beardie enjoyed while he fit under this small one. Hes now brumating under a large one.

Bought this as my bearded dragon was growing and had outgrown her smaller one, this is bigger than the dimensions listed and better than I thought it would be, its very sturdy and will last a very long time. Excellent product for the money spent, I would definitely recommend.
