I ordered this product because it had the best reviews but I’m changing my mind completely. First off the package had a very strong odor to it, not like normal sponges. It smelt almost like chemicals. I was too scared to even put it into my take with my hermies. But second off, on top of that, there was a weird white substance on my sponges as well. I just can’t use them, I’m afraid that it will harm my crabs and I’m not risking it.

A great value! So glad these were available for purchase. My hermmies love them.

There was stuff in one of the sponges but other than that one the rest seem ok a little small.

I needed new sponges and choose these, they shipped fast and the quality is nice but they are tiny!!! So beware of the size when ordering. I used all three as one sponge for my tank.

So far my crabs love it and it’s been easy to clean!

Just as expected

Much less expensive then chain stores and pet stores, the hermit crabs seem to like them. They are keeping my sons crabs going longer than any vacation pet he brought home yet. Good value.

Wet these and they broke apart so fast ): My hermies love playing with them though so I just give them to them dry as a fun toy.
