Just last weekend, I placed the batteries for the first time to start using after installing it on my ceiling carport. It worked at first, but then it wouldnt turn off until I removed the batteries. Next evening, I tried to use it again, and did not turn on at all. By away, the batteries were new, and tried them on another device. I was dissapointed because I was having an outdoor event. Bummefr!

These will get used alot. I like that the color and light pattern can be changed. Having the remote will make it really nice when we are away with the camper. Easy on and off with remote. Being battery operated is also a great feature as electric is not always available where you what to use these. Very happy with this purchase.

I used this for my table display at a craft fair. It worked all day and looked beautiful with just a push of a button! The rope stayed in place right where I put it. Im very happy with it.

Not bad for the price, would be nice if you could isolate the colors...

I purchased these lights to hang on the awning of our camper to low light to help us get around a little easier in the dark. I really liked that I could easily lower to light intensity with the remote. After one trip. I think these lights added a little fun to our night time experience.

Bought for decorating motor home when camping. My daughter has one and loves it and the many various ways to set the lights. So we wanted one too!!

The lights are apparently well-made and sheathed in substantial but flexible vinyl tubing which accommodates easy mounting around turns and corners. The battery casing is water-resistant but I took extra precaution to protect it by mounting it under an overhang. The lights are just the right brightness. Some of the various settings are a bit silly but fun to show off. The reason for the 4 rather than 5 star rating is the limited distance sensitivity of the remote control, which for me tops out at about 10 feet.

I thought the remote would make it easy for me to go out on my front porch and turn the lights, that were down below about 20 feet, on and off but the range is only about 8 feet. Still, the lights look good on the hill at night. The rechargeable batteries last about 3 nights.... itd be great if they had a solar charger and a photo cell.....
