After an accident I wasnt able to bend down and pick up items from the floor nor lower shelves. Ordered this picker upper and it has made a great improvement in my independence. Ive picked up egg shells from the floor and cans from a shelf. The only thing I am missing is a locking mechanism once an item has been grabbed. Due to old broken wrist bones my grip is weak and although the gripper can pick a heavier item up I dont have the strength in my hands to keep it closed long enough to pick the item all the way up.

I bought this because I was tired of walking my yard and picking up trash before I could mow the yard. Trucks carring dumpsters full of construction debris are constantly driving past my property with that debris blowing off and onto my yard. Now I have a bucket attached to my lawn tractor and use the grabber to pick up trash as I mow. This saves me a lot of time.

Worked well for a trash clean up on Earth Day. It helped us reach garbage that was under bushes and other hard to reach spots. It was very dexterous and easily grabbed very small items. They are light weight so not sure about durability - we had no issue but I could see maybe they might not last with excessive use. I would recommend them.

I bought this because this reviews was good and the price was right. This tool is sturdy and easy to use. I was so happy to get it so I didn’t have to bother my son for everything that needed to be pick up and this was the choice. Now I don’t have to worry about bending over because I have my new pick up stick. It’s awesome and recommended for someone who need a pick up stick for ever reason. This the one. super great for older adults, who live alone, to reach for items and to pick up small/etc items dropped. i am totally satisfied with mine.

I love this grabber because of the rubber at the ends I can pick up items without them slipping.
