FiiO FH7 Headphones Wired Earphones Earbuds in-Ear High Resolution Deep Bass 1DD+4BAs Hybrid IEMs with DIY Sound Filters for Smartphones/PC/Laptop/Tablet (Black)

This is the first hybrid IEM Ive listened to, and I hope others do not provide this tone/timbre. Above all else, what matters to me most in music reproduction is natural sounding music, or at least my perception of natural. These do not sound natural. In fact, I would describe the sound as artificial or even sterile. There is no decay to the notes, so the sound is very crisp with almost a metallic color to the sound. I can see why some would like them, because at first listen it creates a perception of detail and resolution. I tried all the tips and filters, and the stock seemed the worst to me. The reference filters are the opposite of their namesake. Ive invested a good amount of money in audio equipment over the years and the reference filters sound the least reference of anything Ive ever purchased. I tried so hard to love these listening to every possible tip/filter combination I could think of and had at my disposal, because I love the clean look and they were very comfortable for me. I enjoyed the fact that I could move about without having to worry about them losing their seal. I returned them, because in the end its the sound that matters most. Ive listened to much cheaper headphones that sound better.

All 3 of these are exceptional for the money.

I can’t believe it, but these FH-7’s beat my Sennheiser HD660-S full size headphones hands down. Never have I heard such clean separation of instruments like this before, and I’m just using them as they came out of the box. The FH-7’s also put my Grado’s to shame. SO glad I bought these!

I am extremely happy with the beautiful full range sound that these provide at such a great price. The sound stage & detail is amazing. The bass is just what I always wanted because is sounds so real. I am so glad I was able to get these for much less than the $1,200 I was planning on spending. Now I can also afford a great DAC/Amp to bring out even more enjoyment than ever.

I would give zero stars on all counts of Amazons customer service if it were possible.

Not going to lie it’s a total rip off of the Shure SE846. With that being said for half the price and every bit as good as the 846 you can’t beat it. Paired with the Fiio M11 and a 4.4mm balanced connecter it’s a VERY strong portable set up. I am very pleased with these headphones, lots of options to tailor it to your liking. From classical to heavy metal it can handle everything really well for earbuds.

Definitely an upgrade when compared to my westone 3 but the fit is not as good.

Sounds amazing outclassing even my full headphones (HD 650, Hifiman 400i). I had a pair of IKKO OH10 that died and was looking for a replacement, decided to give FiiO a chance and they did not disappoint. I can wear these all day with no comfort issues, the FH7 comes with an assortment of Nozzles and Silicon Ear tips.
