Fiebings Snow Proof Original Weatherproofing Paste

I apply this to my comfortable every day boots that I love, but which were constantly letting my toes get wet. This product works great at keeping the water out. Yes it changed the color of my boots significantly, but this is more like the original color, and they looked like brand new! Im in the process of waterproofing all of my leather shoes with Snow Proofing!

This is the same as the original. It darkens most leather. I use it on my work boots for pipelining. Best stuff out there! You have to keep it on your boots. Which means you have to keep applying it.

Works as the original!! I sure miss the metal can. Like the original be sure to test on light leathers because it will darken the material.

This is the best water proofing product I have used. It also makes the leather a bit more flexible. I compared it and Snow seal on two sets of Lowa Renegade boots (both boots are blue). This product looks far better and it softened the boots and made them nicer. The snow seal looked bad and did not seem to soften at all. I think that they would be similar in terms of water proofing, but cant be sure of that because I havent worn either in real wet environs since applying these products.

Same stuff I have been using for 40 years that costs 10 times as much now. good stuff, it is all I use.

It is somewhat thick and difficult to apply , especially if the leather and room is not pretty warm . I use a hairdryer to warm up the leather and the surface of the product before applying . Then I put the boots / gloves on a small forced air heated boot dryer , at least overnight . Slightly stinky when first applied , but well worth it for the waterproofing !

Great boot or shoe protector, have been using for over 45 years.

You need to put effort into applying it but its worth it in the long run. Protects, preserves and restores leather, trust me

Ive used this weatherproofing on my boots for many years both for backpacking and working construction. Snowproof was recommended by a friend who makes custom leather goods. I also found it to work well to condition leather jackets, gloves and even the leathers on the oars and rigging of my traditional boat.

I use this on our boots,it is a thick paste. My experience with it,our boots are a little darker immediately after using but return to original color when totally absorbed. I have used this for years.
